How to Create and Customize an "Instagram Feed" Block in WordPress

Step 01: First, go to your WordPress dashboard and click on "Add New Page."

Step 02: Click the "+" icon on the right side, type "Instagram Feed" in the search box, and then click the search icon.

Step 03: From the available blocks, select the "Instagram Feed" block to start working with it.

Step 04: Once the block is added, you will see the "Instagram Feed" block appear on your page.

Step 05: Now, when you click on the "Instagram Feed" block, you will see two fields on the right side under "Instagram Feed Block Setting" labeled "Access Token" and "Instagram User ID." Enter your Access Token and Instagram User ID, and after saving, the Instagram feed will appear on your website.

Here are the steps to obtain your Access Token and Instagram User ID:

1. Log into Facebook → Go to Facebook Developers Account → Add a New App → Create App → More Options → Click on continue button → Choose "Something Else" → Click on continue.
2. Register the New App → Select Instagram Basic Display → Navigate to the Basic Display section → Click "Create New App" and provide the app name.
3. Go to the Basic Display section → Find & click "Add or Remove Instagram Testers" → Enter your Instagram User ID and submit.
4. Log in to Instagram → Go to Settings → Apps and Websites → Tester Invites → Accept the invitation.
5. Return to the Facebook Developers dashboard → Find the app you created → Navigate to Basic Display → User Token Generator → Generate a Token.
6. Approve permissions, check the "I understand" box, copy the access token, and paste it into the Access Token box.
7. Go to Postman → Create an Account → Make a Get request by→ This way → You will get Your Instagram Id → Copy and paste it to the below box

Step 06: Additionally, in the "Instagram Feed Block Setting," you will find options such as "Your Thoughts," "Section Max Width," "Grid Columns," and "Grid Gap." These settings allow you to easily customize the appearance of the Instagram Feed block.

Step 07: Finally, once you’ve completed the customization of your Instagram Feed, click the "Save" button.

This process will enable you to integrate your Instagram feed into your WordPress website and customize it as needed.
